Scripture Union West Africa (SUWA) has been working tirelessly to protect the environment and protect the climate through her Smart Agriculture training and capacity building of staff and beneficiaries in various project locations.
Recently, SUWA built a demonstration farm in Wannune, Benue state, where different animals are reared. The aim of this is to train beneficiaries on how they could keep animals to serve the purpose of meeting the need for manure at the farm. SUWA has been able to train farmers in Taraba and Benue on how to produce organic composite from the waste products from animals and the farm waste like corn stalk, leaves, etc.
